The challenge to find uses for the tons of boxes that we have left after a move is a big one. If money was paid for them, it makes it very difficult to just send them out to the recycling bin and kiss off the money. Well, we have managed to put a good bit of them to use and now we have two more ways to finish of the pile: toy box and display case.

Those moving boxes are still sitting there and we still needed something else to do with them. The bookcases were great, but they hardly used up the amount of boxes that we had purchased. The funny thing is that the next idea happened out of sheer luck in that our cat jumped into one of the boxes and started playing. All the toys we had for the animal and she just had to go into a box.
If you are not familiar with kitty condos, they are tall structure with various different scratching posts and areas that the cat can hide in, scratch and play. It sound simple enough, but believe me, they are not cheap. Our cat had always liked to get into boxes the moment that we opened them up and put them on the floor so this one seemed like it would be a slam dunk.

We have all been faced with the dilemma of having stacks and stacks of boxes after a move. Do you throw them away or keep them for another move? Well if you are like me, your house was ceiling to floor with boxes when the movers left and I was looking at close to a hundred boxes that I was going to have to figure something out for.
While my first instinct was to break them all down and put them in the trash, I suddenly realized that I had paid close to $200 for them and was not about to just ship them to the dumpster. Making a move is stressful enough without having to worry about your items being ruined in the process. While there are many different enclosures that are recommended, nothing is as dependable or as affordable as small shipping boxes. Instead of purchasing plastic containers that are expensive and often the wrong size, small shipping boxes can be customized for every single item that is being packed.
