Children have such amazing imaginations, something as simple as a small shipping box has a way of turning into a wonderful toy. From building castles to race cars, there are endless ways to use a box for creative play. Next time a package comes in the mail and there are extra boxes lying around, do not throw them away, but use them to create a live puppet theater.
Once the kids decide what their puppet play will be about, begin by decorating the sides of boxes to represent a set. This can be done simply with crayons or a bit fancier with paint, glitter or even foam shapes for a three dimensional effect. Tape up any parts of the box that are still open and they can easily be set up on a table to set the scene.
For additional scenery, use boxes that have been cut to lay

Cheese makes a great gift for any occasion, but the holidays are generally the most popular time to give cheese as a gift. Many people think that it is necessary to ship cheese in Styrofoam boxes, or with ice packs, like other perishable foods but this is not always true. Many hard cheeses can be shipped in normal cardboard small shipping boxes.
The secret to shipping cheese is finding the right size box. With most hard cheeses, finding a box that is roughly the same size as the cheese box will be more than sufficient to ensure safe delivery. In case of an excessively large box, the cheese can be stabilized using old newspaper or shredded packing cardboard.
Finding the proper small shipping boxes is important when shipping various cheeses. When purchasing cheese directly from a store, be sure to ask the store clerk if they have the cheese available in a

After the holidays or a big move people are often left with all kinds of small shipping boxes lying around the house. These small boxes can be a nuisance because people often have no idea what to do with them. It is wasteful to throw these boxes away, but thankfully there are many clever ways to recycle old shipping boxes.

Now that we have your attention, we are talking about your pets, not you. We have all made the joke that if things keep going, we are going to end up sleeping in a box. Funny thing is, most cats would love to have this opportunity. Anyone who has ever opened up a package and thrown their box on the floor has more than likely seen their cat run into the box like it was the greatest thing that they have ever seen.
For whatever reason, cats love to be in close quarters. Put a small shipping box down on the floor that is half the size of the cat and they somehow manage to get their entire body in there and absolutely love every second of it. We can afford to give them a bit more room and save one of the bigger boxes (or purchase one) to make a

Shipping books seems like it should be a piece of cake, but many people end up sending out a book in perfect condition only to have it arrive a torn and shredded mess. This is something that is especially common when shipping paperback books. Just throwing them into a box and sending them on their way is not enough to make sure that they get to their location safe and sound.
Because you have no idea of knowing what type of condition or weather the book will be traveling in, it is always best to wrap the books up to protect them. Saran Wrap will work nicely and provide a good seal. There is no need to tape the wrap as it should be clingy enough to hold itself in place if it is put on properly. If a foodsaver is in the house, all the better. The airtight seal will
